Solicit Public Input
It is important that the Natural Resources Management Department be accountable for the stewardship of public lands and to be
responsive to public input and concerns in the management of those lands. We take all input seriously and will consider any input we receive.
It is the intent of the department to:
- Establish and participate in a Public Advisory Committee to provide recommendations to the County Board on forest management plans and policies.
- Periodically conduct open houses or other events within the County to provide opportunity to review forest management plans and performance.
- Establish procedures to provide prompt feedback to anyone providing input or raising concerns including descriptions of actions taken or
reasons for not taking any action.
